The 6.3 mile Charles Dickens Trail has been created as a tribute to the 175th anniversary of Charles Dickens last visit to the Isle of Wight in the summer of 1849 with his family.

A 2.7 mile grassland walk west of Ventnor, with stunning views, and an initial challenging climb. You will see the St Catherine's Oratory, stunning views west towards Freshwater Bay and the Hoy Monument.

The Wroxall Stream Trail or Link is an 8 mile trail which links the town of Ventnor to the village of Merstone, on the Isle of Wight.

Old High Hat Tunnel St Lawrence is a 619-yard tunnel that opened in 1897 and remained in use for a further 55 years until the line closed in 1952.

The St. Lawrence heritage trails come in two parts. This one is the Coastal Trail (5.4k/3.4 miles) and requires suitable footwear as it can be wet and slippery after rain. Reasonable fitness is required.
