WALK 2
Ventnor to Orchard Bay Circular Walk via Steephill Cove- 3.75 miles / 2 hours
The coastal walk westwards from Ventnor to Steephill Cove and beyond is very picturesque. As far as Steephill it's all on made-up paths, so it's a year-round walk with a few steepish slopes. From Easter onwards, there are several cafés open at Steephill Cove, and it's a popular route for weekend walkers and their dogs. This walk starts and ends at the main carpark in Ventnor's High Street. Outwards the walk winds down to the seafront then follows the coastline, but the return journey comes via the road and back into town.
REFRESHMENTS: You can find all year round eateries on Ventnor seafront, or cafes at Steephill Cove Easter to October.
