Lin's Wroxall Downs Bluebells Walk

Last updated:

Lin has clocked up many miles walking all over the Island, and blogs about them on her website.

WALK 37
Ventnor to Wroxall Downs Bluebells - 2.5 miles / 2 hours

This is a must-do Springtime walk that should be undertaken every May, to witness the millions of English Bluebells, although it's a lovely walk any time of year as the views are stunning. It's surprising to see so many bluebells carpeting the open downland above Ventnor and Wroxall, when they are normally associated as a woodland plant.

You can park up on the Downs, but this walk starts from Ventnor, in the industrial estate where the main railway station used to be.

The link below will take you to the walk in detail on Lin's website.
