Geranium is The Royal Hotel's award-winning restaurant which has achieved 2 AA Rosettes for excellent food for over 25 consecutive years. Our evening menu created by our head chef Matt Egan, is sure to delight and surprise any seasoned gourmet. A delicious traditional lunch is also available in Geranium every Sunday. Afternoon tea and lunches Monday-Saturday are served in our beautiful, Colonial-style conservatory and brasserie. In the summer, we offer outdoor dining in our beautiful gardens with its backdrop of rare, pink, climbing mountain geraniums.
NON-RESIDENT DINING
We are delighted to let you know we are now open for non-resident dining in our opulent restaurant. Dinner is served daily from 6.15pm-8.45pm and we recommend booking as far in advance as possible as spaces are limited.
Our menu reflects the abundance of quality produce harvested from the Isle of Wight’s bountiful coast and countryside. Enjoy exquisite seasonal food matched with as selection of fine wines.
Our dinner menu is a la carte, and vegetarian and vegan options are available.
DRESS CODE
Our dress code for dinner is smart but casual. No shorts or sportswear please. In consideration of other guests we request that mobile phones and other electronic devices are switched off whilst in the restaurant.

There are two steps into the entrance lobby, with level access to the restaurant.
