Ventnor Exchange

More than just a venue, Ventnor Exchange is a pioneering arts organisation for the Isle of Wight. We bring together visionary artists to inspire, nurture, provoke and entertain, often in unconventional ways.

Our mission is to build a sustainable creative economy that provides opportunities, careers and an authentic Island voice that is heard around the world.

Combining a venue, cocktail and craft beer bar, record shop and co-working, Ventnor Exchange is a bold attempt to create a new type of space on the High Street. There is nothing on the Island quite like it!

A daytime hub with records and coffee to meet with friends, and by night an intimate venue to catch award winning theatre,  comedy and concerts, or explore more than 70 craft beers on offer!

As a social enterprise, all of the profits from the venue are reinvested to fund projects that develop the cultural offer of the area, and support opportunities for the next generation.

We regularly step outside of our building to help transform the community and environment around us.  From major street art commissions to producing Ventnor Fringe, the Island’s largest arts festival, every summer.  We also run Brave Island, an innovative new scheme to provide opportunities, funding and support to young people across the Island.
