Drawing Club evenings are informal ‘drop in and draw’ sessions, with no prior experience necessary. All of the materials are provided for you via the wonderful arts funding that the Ventnor Exchange provides for the community - hurrah!
Katy Rose, a professional illustrator, will be on hand to talk to you 1-to-1 so you can learn a new material or talk through your ideas. A new theme is normally set for each each session, with the first half of the evening being dedicated to fun challenges to get your drawing arms loosened up and some inspiration by looking at other artists who have worked to that theme. You can then create your own art using whatever materials take your fancy. If you don't wish to follow the theme, that is completely fine.
