Opened in 2022 after nearly three years planning the community library project was held up by the covid pandemic when the room was repurposed as The Wroxall Foodbank, which currently now operates out of the Green Room. With a final and much appreciated financial push from Wroxall Parish Council the room was completed in early 2022 and is now open to the public.
There is a good selection of books on offer as well as a small selection of DVD's.
The Wroxall Community Library is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm for all residents, the door is open.
If you use the library, let us know what you think. We’d love to hear your feedback. Thank you.
A donation box for facilities upkeep is inside the library. We are in need of new or better shelving for the amount of books we have. If anyone is able to help please at the first point make contact with the halls committee, thank you. We are also on the lookout for a new librarian to sort through and replace, rotate the books. If you’re interested, please get in contact.
The Community Library space is also a great space for smaller meetings in a relaxed environment. Contact us for details.
