Handmade crocheted items, made in my cottage on the Isle of Wight. Pattern tester, wannabe crochet designer, ocean lover, surfer. Message to order.

Orders
Most of my work is commission based. I am a one woman band with one pair of creative hands, a family, and 3 (very part-time) jobs - plus my crochet.  Sometimes there is a short wait before I can make your order, but I will advise you of this accordingly.

I do make a few art pieces that are up for sale at Artemis and The Mermaid in Ventnor. The majority of my work is already sold before I post pictures on my Facebook page. If you see something that you’d like to discuss with me, you can either: comment on the post, message me via messenger, or there’s a WhatsApp button at the top of my page. I am very happy to answer any questions and discuss different options with you.

Sadly this year I’m dealing with scam attempts fairly regularly. Having previously worked successfully on a trust basis, it’s fairly depressing to have to do this, but I need to try and protect myself from these awful people. I now operate in a slightly different way. Once your order has been discussed, yarns selected and a price quoted, I will search to find you the best deals on the required materials. I will provide you with this information so you can order and pay for the yarn directly from an online yarn shop. You will need to have the yarn delivered straight to me from the shop - which acts as your deposit and confirms the sincerity of your order. Once I have made the item, I will send photos for your approval. Assuming you’re happy with my work, I will then request payment and address details. Once payment has been received in full, I will wrap up and post your item to you (as soon as possible) and message to confirm it has been sent.

Generally as a rule, I only post within the UK, and postage is charged at cost.

Crochet Lessons
I offer crochet lessons on the South of the Isle of Wight. Group sessions are for 4 people, or one-to-one sessions.

For group sessions you would need to bring your own hooks and yarn - which I would give recommendations on depending on the lesson content.

One to one sessions I can provide an appropriate hook and yarn for the session, but you’d need your own materials and hooks to continue with.

Sessions can be aimed at complete beginners, through to crocheters looking to learn different techniques such as mosaic crochet. I am happy to run sessions on weekdays, evenings or weekends to fit in around work or family commitments.

I don’t claim to know it all, but if you think I can help or teach you something you’d like to learn, now is the time….

Sadie's work is available to buy at Artemis and The Mermaid in Ventnor's High Street.
