Ventnor Well-Being Café is a self-help group based at the Green Room at Salisbury Gardens and funded by Ventnor Town Council, helping members regain their confidence and self-esteem again, helping to make friends whilst trying and enjoying new and varied activities.
We believe that you are a priority, and we are here to help, not to judge.
It's very special place, offering inclusive support and kindness to anyone in Ventnor who would benefit from informal support with their mental wellbeing.
It’s comfortable and the whole group looks after each other; it gives them purpose. Friendships have blossomed and some people now meet each other outside of the café for coffee.
We have tea, coffee, cakes and fruit for everyone, and we have a mental health first aider available at all times for suicide prevention.

SUPPORT
We regularly have visits from other services and organisations, such as Living Well, Social Prescribers and Citizens Advice -Help Through Crisis. If you have any queries, we can help signpost you to a relevant organisation.
The café will also help with important forms and paper work that people are unable to complete or find difficult to do alone.
We have an allotment space too, at the allotment near Bonchurch.
ACTIVITIES
The group engages in fundraising activities to raise money for trips and outings such as pub lunches, quizzes or visits to venues such as Osbourne House or Quarr Abbey. Follow our FACEBOOK page for the next activity or trip.
