Starting out in 2025, the 2 day Ventnor Summer Festival is organised by Ventnor Town Council, with the aim of drawing people into Ventnor town centre on the Saturday, and into Ventnor Park on the Sunday.
SATURDAY
Saturday's festivities are hosted by the Ventnor Business Association, with things going on around town and on Ventnor seafront. The Business Association has named Saturday as Ventnor Day, although it will be different to the previous years' Ventnor Day event that used to occur in the park.
SUNDAY
Sunday is hosted by Ventnor Town Council and is held in the award winning Ventnor Park. There are normally fun activities, stalls showcasing local makers and crafters, charity information stalls, food, and live music. The day will also feature sporting tasters from local sports clubs who encourage visitors to join in.
There are usually stalls and activities for children, like face-painting, glitter tattoos, sand art, and traditional games.
There should be plenty of fun for local residents, Islanders and holidaymakers alike.
Stallholders are always welcomed for the Sunday event. A small fee is charged for all stalls, which goes towards covering the cost of organising the day.
