Learning to play a musical instrument is a yearning many people from all walks of life have in common, and performing in public is often a hidden desire amongst many. By creating an environment that encourages and motivates the Learn-Practice-Play-Perform cycle we aim to introduce individuals to these experiences and ensure, through professional and group support, that they are successful in their endeavours.
Come and joins us. It's informal, friendly, and a mix of abilities from beginners to helpful seasoned players. Any age or ability welcome.
WEEKLY PRACTICE SESSION @ BETTER DAYS CAFE
We get together to practice every Monday at 3.30pm at Better Days Cafe in High Street Ventnor.
MONTHLY OPEN MIC @ THE SPYGLASS
We also host a monthly Sunday open mic at The Boathouse at the back of The Spyglass Inn. Come and hear the guitar club perform classic hits by Rolling Stones, The Animals, The Stranglers, The Impressions and many more. They meet at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, generally on the last Sunday of the month, but check our Facebook page for the next session. Free entry. Everyone welcome.
