Sadie Tierney studied MA Printmaking at the Royal College of Art, and Fine Art Painting at Newcastle University. Solo exhibitions include Rabley Gallery, Eton College and Flowers East.
Permanent collections include Imperial Health Charity, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Gdansk Museum, Eton College, The Royal Navy, Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, The Otter Collection and Portsmouth City Museum along with private collections in Europe, USA and Hong Kong.
Sadie Tierney’s prints and paintings spring from drawings made in situ and are marked by a celebratory use of colour and line. Tierney says “Inspiration comes from my surroundings, and I’m looking forward to working in this wonderful community in St. Lawrence.”
Sadie is based at Binnel Studios in St Lawrence.
