More than 50 years delivering fun, laughter and drama!

The Pepperpot Players started life as Niton Drama Group in 1972 when a small band of enthusiasts performed a one-act play at Niton Village Hall. In 1988 it was decided to re-name the group The Pepperpot Players as it was no longer based solely in Niton. The group has grown over the years and is always welcoming to new members.

They perform around two shows a year and meet at Niton Village Hall on Tuesdays from 7.30pm (and Shanklin on Thursdays) to rehearse throughout most of the year. The group has performed comedies, period dramas, murder mysteries, revues – to name but a few.

In 2012/13 we won the Isle of Wight Amateur Theatre Award for Best Village Production for the play Black Widow. In 2023, The Pepperpot Players were given an award for dramatic excellence by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) for their production of ‘Agatha Crusty and the Village Hall Murders’.

Join them, either on or off stage, or go and support one of their shows. If you would like more information, please contact Shani Watts (Secretary) on 01983 731295.
