The space
Newly refurbished in 2023 with soft, restful decor, this is the perfect place for a couple to relax and unwind.
It is an annexe adjoining our house, but you have your own separate entrance, and your own garden space.
WIFI: We allow guests to hop onto our home WiFi for general web browsing and social media.
TV: the property does not have a television.
KITCHEN: Fitted units with built-in single oven, induction hob, and fridge, plus a toaster and kettle. Within the kitchen is a dining area for 2. The view from the window looks up at our steep cliff garden behind our house.
BEDROOM: This spacious room has a kingsize bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe and 4 drawers of storage. We have provided an iron & table top ironing board plus a hairdryer. There are also two armchairs to relax in, and from the large window you can enjoy lovely sunrises and a view towards the sea beyond.
ENSUITE: Modern fitted units, handbasin, toilet and a walk-in shower. There is also a heated mirror and ample bright lighting. Luxury SLS-free and paraben-free toiletries are provided.
OUTSIDE: The kitchen door opens onto a leafy paved garden space with a huge Tetrapanax tree. Its enormous 90cm diameter leaves dwarf the specimen in Ventnor Botanic Garden! As our house is nestled into the Undercliff, we are protected from cold winds, and have our own micro-climate. Barely any traffic passes, so it is an extremely quiet space to sit out in.
WILDLIFE: You may even be lucky enough to spot our resident badgers, red squirrels, foxes or lizards. You will likely see buzzards and kestrels that live in the cliff behind our houses.
