IWASP - Isle of Wight Against Scams Partnership
IOW Trading Standards Service have joined forces with the Police, Fire and Rescue, Age Friendly Island (AgeUK Isle of Wight) and Citizens Advice Bureau to form a partnership called IWASP.
Under the Charter all of these organisations work together to better protect people on the Isle of Wight from scams, doorstep crime and fraud and to support victims.
How to Report A Scam
It is really important that any incidents of scams are reported to IWASP. Although they cannot act on them it provides valuable intelligence and IWASP will be able to use these reports to warn other potential victims of the current scams that are affecting our Island residents.
