We provide opportunities for families to meet other wonderful parents and little ones, play, explore wellbeing and connect.
About
My name is Hattie. I am an experienced primary school teacher with a Masters in Education, focusing on mental wellbeing and positive psychology. Our sessions nurture creativity, fun, wonder and our sense of community; celebrating the joy of our Island.
I am dedicated to working with families to give children the best start in life. When I became a mum, my husband & I worked as teachers and moved to the Island for a more outdoors lifestyle. We have embraced all the Island has to offer and have made some amazing friends. Hello Happy Island combines my love of the Island and of helping children flourish.
Mum & Baby sessions
Our mum and baby sessions for all mums with babies from bump to 2 years. Join us to take on fun challenges and activities with your little one, chat and explore wellbeing. Each session will explore a different area of wellbeing, have a fun and creative challenge and time to chat with us and each other. Refreshments will be provided so even more reason to come see us if you've had a rushed morning and need some time for you. All in a warm, friendly environment away from the sight of any washing or chores.
Older pre-school siblings are welcome, with plenty of opportunity for them to play while you relax and explore wellbeing.
There are many small changes we can make to our daily lives that have been shown to improve our mental health and wellbeing. For this term, sessions are only £1 per family.
Join us at Ventnor Family Centre every Wednesday morning 10:00 - 11:30 during term time.
These sessions are designed in blocks of 12 weeks and include one Saturday session for partners to join us and discover more about wellbeing.
Unfortunately we can only accommodate siblings up to 11 years of age.
These sessions are non-refundable but we do understand that things pop up in busy family life, so if you would like to change which session you are booked on to, please email me hattie@hellohappyisland.co.uk and I will endeavour to do this for you if there is availability in the chosen session.
