Paddling Pool
Uniquely shaped in the form of the Isle of Wight, Ventnor's iconic paddling pool on the Esplanade has provided entertainment for generations of children. It is managed by Ventnor Town Council and the Ventnor Enhancement Fund, and is repainting every year. There are picnic tables nearby so parents and guardians can sit and keep a watchful eye. Children can scramble over the Island and splash around in the water. The water is shallow, so it only for paddling not swimming.
Open end of May to September (no water in the pool during the winter)
Pavement Games
Next to the paddling pool are 3 games painted on the pavement.
Facilities
Overlooking the paddling pool is Besty and Spinky's cafe for food and drinks. Public toilets are located next to the paddling pool.
