Better Days Cafe is a safe, warm inclusive space serving coffee & tea, cakes, sandwiches, and fresh homemade soup, plus daily specials.
More than just a cafe, Better Days Cafe also offers a drop-in mental health and signposting service, as well as mental health workshops for adults and teenagers.
We can provide food. Care packages. Advice on benefits. A hug and a soup.
The cafe offers people with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues a chance to learn skills in order to enter into work. From till skills, customer service and kitchen hygiene certificates, alongside interview skills and CV advice.
SAFE Space
The café is also a registered SAFE space, meaning victims of domestic abuse can come in and speak with staff for signposting to services that can help and support you. Staff can also assist with signposting to a number of other agencies that can help, including mental health services.
