The 30 acre farm is set in the heart of the Undercliff in St Lawrence, an area of outstanding natural beauty. During your stay you may wander freely around the farm & explore. Follow the fishing buoys through the fields to get to the coastal footpath. Orchard Bay and Battery Bay are directly in front of the farm & are wonderful beaches for swimming, rock pooling & crabbing.
From the coastal footpath it is a short walk to the idyllic Steephill Cove, Ventnor Cricket Club & the wonderful Ventnor Botanical Gardens and a further 20 minute walk along the coastal footpath to the nearest seaside town of Ventnor.
MEET THE OWNERS
We are Penny, Robert & Clare, siblings who grew up here. With families of our own, we came to realise what a magical & unique location Bank End Farm is for family holidays. With this in mind, we lovingly converted some of the barns into holiday cottages providing a range of family accommodation to suit all.
We have barn conversions, bungalows and Yurts and a beautiful secluded area on the farm for camping & caravanning.
Guests can walk through the farm fields to the coastal footpath, explore the small beaches below the farm, or can sit back and recharge their batteries relaxing at the cottages while taking in the clean sea air and awe-inspiring views.

BARN CONVERSIONS
We have a choice of 3 Island stone barn conversions, set in an open courtyard in a truly spectacular location with stunning coastal views. Beachcombers sleeps up to 8, Lobster Pot up to 5 and Fishermans is perfect for a couple. They are well equipped and lovingly converted to preserve much of their original character. All 3 barns have sea views and have use of a Games Area with table tennis and badminton. There is also an outdoor play area with swings, slide & climbing frame and basket ball hoop as well as a large play field below the barns, with pitch and putt, a football goal, picnic tables & plenty of space for games & kite flying.
MODERN BUNGALOWS
We have two bungalows - Swifts and Swallows - which each sleep up to 6 people. Both have wonderful sea views across the fields. They are furnished with great care, and there is off road parking for up to 2 cars.
YURTS
We have two Yurts - Moonlight & Stardust - each sleeping 4 comfortably. Both equipped with 1 double bed, 2 single futons and a wood-burner. Bedding and linen are provided as well as all manner of cooking and culinary implements. Our Yurts have their own paddock for play, and their own BBQ and gas cookers, separate modern bathrooms in a nearby stone barn & separate kitchen areas. Our Yurts are available to rent from April 1st-September 30th.
CAMPING & CARAVANNING
A small, secluded, family-friendly site in an idyllic peaceful location with amazing sea views. We are Camping & Caravanning Club certified site and can accommodate 5 caravans & up to 10 tents so booking is advisable. There is a chemical disposal point and bins on site. Children are welcome as are well behaved dogs. The pitches are well spaced and have amazing sea views. Please note we have no toilet or shower facilities at this site.
