Andy Noctor Art
Andy has a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art & Three Dimensional Design, and considers himself a digital landscape artist. He is the creator & designer of the original Gravity Powered Lamp (GravLight), documented & exhibited widely in the late 1990’s. He initially studied electronics, antenna & satellite (VSAT) systems in the 1980’s and has worked in Education and Information Technology for more the 25 years. Andy is a pilot, musician, New Entrepreneur Scholar & Ambassador.
Characterised by his interpretation of natural light and architecture, Andy creates minimal, symbolic & abstract works using coast and landscape inspired by the island – another language created to draw in your imagination. All works can be bought as one-off pieces, fine art prints, canvases, greetings cards and more. Print runs are limited.
Andy is happy to consider commissions from both private and commercial clients and welcomes the opportunity to discuss projects at any level.
Artist Andy Noctor’s art studio isn’t just a creative space; it’s a working family home. It’s where Andy creates the artwork on display in his online gallery. Andy’s studio looks out over Appuldurcombe House and the Rew Valley in Wroxall – a beautiful and wild location, situated on the South coast of the Isle of Wight.
